Koepp Chevrolet Inc. HISTORY: Ewald O. Koepp started the Koepp Garage in the small community of LA VERNIA, TX on the old highway US 87, "where thousands have saved since 1923.”
It soon became Koepp Chevrolet Inc. Ewald's son, Ewald Koepp Jr., joined his father after serving in the Korean War in 1952. In 1957 US Hwy 87 by-passed the old downtown of LA VERNIA and a new dealership was built on the corner of the new US 87 and FM 775 - its present location. In 1975 Junior's son, Dwight A. Koepp joined the dealership and is presently the sole owner. Koepp Chevrolet Inc. is one of the oldest auto dealerships in south Texas and has a reputation of low prices, fair dealings and personal service.
